After breakfast, drive through Tinghir and the dramatic Todra Gorges, with their towering cliffs. Continue through the Ziz Valley, passing endless palm oases, before reaching Merzouga. In the late afternoon, enjoy a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes. Watch the sunset over the Sahara and spend the night in a luxury desert camp with traditional Berber music.
Begin the day with an optional sunrise in the dunes. Explore the nearby village of Khamlia, famous for Gnawa music, and meet a local nomadic Berber family for tea and a traditional lunch.
